Changes to EZITREE Introduced in v9.0
| The number of records that may be recorded in EZITREE increased from 99,999 to 99,999,999 or system capacity. |
| The four data views, Event, Browse, Lineage and Family are now contained in a single 'tabbed' window rather than four separate windows. View |
| The 'Default' image is now displayed in Browse and Lineage Views. |
| The number of generations in the Lineage View has now been increased from four to five generations from the current person. View |
| The Event Details window now has a' tabbed' section to enable the full display of multimedia and source information. View |
| The Occupation Code field has been increased from three to four digits, thus increasing the number of available occupations from 999 to 9,999. |
| Data File management has been compressed down to one window which will handle all file selections, new files, name changes and file deletions. View |
| The First Name length increased from 30 to 50 characters and the Last name length increased from 25 to 40 characters. |
| Increased the length of places, witnesses, residences and cause of death from 60 to 100 characters. |
| Most data entry fields now have a 'drop down' prompt of recently entered data from which you may select to save re-typing. |
| A new 'radio button' has been added to many data entry windows to control how EZITREE sets the 'case' of many of the data fields. |
| Deleting a record now really does delete it! In previous EZITREE versions a 'Pack' program had to be run to delete these records. |
